Shop Local this Christmas

As we all know, there are many small/local businesses that have had an extremely difficult year. So this Christmas season, we are going to try and shop locally for all our gifts. We thought we’d compile a list of our favorite businesses in our area, in case you wanted to do the same!

Wayzata/Minnetonka
1) The General Store – MinnetonkaThis store, located off Hwy 7 has so many fun trinkets, you’ll find something there you can find nowhere else.
2) The Grocer’s TableFor the food lover! This market doubles as a restaurant (and has amazing food!) Great cook books, and ingredients galore.
3) Five SwansSimilar to the General Store, this place has everything you never knew you needed! Adorable decor, candles and gifts, and a special section for the Lake Minnetonka lovers.
4) JewelweedFor the health and beauty guru! This store has everything essential oils and more.
5) Grace HillFor the home decor lover! Classy Christmas home decor and more.

Bloomington
1) Droolin’ MooseFor the chocolate lover! People come from all over just to have a taste of this chocolate. Gifts come in premade baskets, or whatever you choose from the store.
2) Groth MusicFor the music lovers! This store offers everything you can think of in the music department, from instruments to sheet music, they’ve got it all!
3) Chuck & Don’sFor the pet lover! Everyone knows your pet deserves a Christmas present too 😉 Chuck & Don’s is a local business that has everything your furry friend loves.
4) Instant Replay SportsFor the ones that love sports! Shop local AND used here. Great quality sports equipment and a great price.
5) Mall of AmericaThe MOA opened up a 5,000 sqft area in the Community Commons for many struggling small businesses to showcase their products. Make sure to stop in here for your holiday shopping!
